Pastor Morgan Shares His Amazing Life Story Of The Power Of God In His Life-
I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in the Magnolia and Melphomene Projects -
over in the 3rd Ward of Orleans Parish. My nightmare journey began at the age of three or four
when my mother and father had separated, then later gotten a divorce.

After that, I had seven stepfathers in my life and I was cruelly beaten and abused by some of
them. Life got so bad at home I had to run away. When my mother found out that I was
sleeping in my neighborhood in the cold dark corridors of the projects, she sent home cooked
meals and blankets to shield me from the freezing temperatures. This she did until she felt it was
reasonably safe enough for me to return home. The love that my mother  showed me through all
of this and the abuse she took for me caused me to endure my hardships for her sake. Deep
down inside, I had often wondered if things would ever get better.

In fact, circumstances had gotten much worse.  One day, one of my step fathers had gotten into a scuffle with my mother and she
had to put him out of the house. He told her that he was going to get even with her if its the last thing he did; and he had done just
that.

He reported her to the welfare department, and upon investigation they found that he had been living with us-- buying us food
and clothing. As a results, we were immediately cut off from receiving food stamps and welfare checks.

My nightmare soared when I saw my mother crying in the corner of the house, praying to God, asking Him, "Where am I gonna
find money to feed my children? What am I gonna do?" That was when I decided that we were not going to starve.

Unknown to my mother, I quit school and found jobs carrying grocery bags and toting golf carts. The pay for an eleven year old
boy was not enough to feed my six siblings at home - and one of them was still an infant. In desperation, I had taken the wrong
exit and started selling drugs; but with good intentions-to feed my family. It wasn't long though, when I, too, started using them.

The streets of New Orleans was full of crime that I was often a part of. Worst still, I had joined myself there, to one of the worst
of gangs. Although, one hardly ever lives to tell about it after separating from such a class of rough eons, God was giving me an
extreme make-over and they noticed!

The title of my book is,
"The Call" To Hang Out With a Good God That Keeps Bad Company. In
spite of my bad company, God invited me to hang out with Him. Like a tender pitying father, He loved and spoiled me into his
custody. Although I was unable to read and write He taught me how to read and write in English through my Greek Class. He
delivered me from drugs, alcohol and gangs. Read about the  extreme make-over that God made in my life:
